Habitat for Humanity
Participated in multiple home builds in Wake County, NC, helping families achieve the dream of homeownership.
Hurricane Katrina Relief
Traveled to Gulfport, Mississippi with Baptist Church Men to rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
WRAL Concept Home (2008)
Built a showcase home raising thousands of dollars for WakeMed Hospital Children's Services.
The Million Dollar Dog House (2013)
Constructed a luxury estate home benefiting the Wake County SPCA. The home featured custom dog-friendly features including built-ins, doggie baths, custom backyard dog houses, and pooch patios. It won the Silver Award in the 2013 Wake County HBA Parade of Homes in the $1,250,000–$2,290,000 category.
This project demonstrated Mark's hands-on building expertise while supporting a cause close to his heart.
North Carolina Wildlife Commission
Assisted hosting "Becoming an Outdoors Woman" annual events over the past decade, introducing women to outdoor activities and conservation.
Pittsboro Kiwanis Club
